Highlights: Ranu grew up with a passion for understanding relationships between development and policy-making. She has spent the past several years studying the European Union and its relations with the outside world. More specifically, she has looked at how migration impact political and economic relationships between countries. She has developed her skills in qualitative and quantitative research, as well as in program management and program evaluation while living and working in countries such as Germany, Belgium, Ghana and Turkey. As a Fulbright Scholar in Turkey, she analyzed the role of education in sustainable development. Moreover, she examined how the outcomes of these projects affect migration movements within Turkey and from Turkey, and how they ultimately impact broader Turkey-EU relations.
