Vedant Pathak To Hold Live Charity Stream for LAMP

VedantVedant Pathak, a sophomore high school student from Chicago, is passionate about many things, including video games and AIF’s Learning and Migration Program (LAMP). On Saturday, November 7th, Vedant plans to combine both of these together.

Between 4pm – 7pm (Central Time) that day, this avid gamer will be playing Fifa 16, one of the most popular video games in the world. His game will be streamed on twitch.tv. The neat thing is that while the stream is running, there will be an option to donate to his channel. At the end of the stream, all his donations will be given to his Light a LAMP page (https://my.aif.org/dantcharitystream). In those 5 hours, Vedant’s goal is to raise $1,000.

“I saw that other users were doing charity streams for causes they are passionate about, so it inspired me to do this for Light a LAMP,” said Vedant. “I think this is a really innovative way to fundraise.”

To take part in this charity stream, visit Vedant’s site this Saturday from (4pm – 7pm Central Time): http://www.twitch.tv/armyofbanter
