In the heart of Haryana, 31-year-old Ritu Saini is not just a mother of six–she’s a real-life superhero.
Ritu’s hero journey, like many, began with adversity. Her husband’s unstable income left her family struggling to survive, and despite her eagerness to work, she lacked the necessary skills and training.
Determined to provide for her family, Ritu turned to AIF’s ‘Earn While You Learn’ Initiative, which empowers women to develop crucial business skills. There, she not only honed her sewing abilities but also learned to manage finances, conduct online transactions, and strategically plan for growth.
Today, Ritu proudly owns and operates her own boutique. She’s securing her family’s future, challenging gender stereotypes, and providing jobs for other women in her community. She’s even mentored six other women at AIF’s Training Center, who are now forging their own heroic paths!
