Guru Krupa Foundation (GKF)
The main principles of the Guru Krupa Foundation (GKF), based in New York, include helping those who are less fortunate, supporting causes related to the acquisition of knowledge, and preserving the heritage and knowledge that has already been acquired (guru-krupa.org). In its first year supporting AIF, GKF will fund two Learning Resource Centers (LRCs) outreach activities in two villages in Karnataka, India, to improve access to learning for children of sugarcane migrants. The LRCs, which will be used by 1,500 children from grades 1-10 in 10 surrounding villages, will host a library and provide children access to laptops, tablets, interactive software, online resources & other technical necessities, including STEM kits.
