AIF Brings Digital Education to Applied Materials’ “EarthWorks”

As part of a month-long initiative “EarthWorks”, employees of Applied Materials hosted a range of activities to mark Earth Day. Over 40 employees volunteered to join hands with Trees for Free (TFF), American India Foundation and planted more than 45 saplings at the Government Higher Primary School in Gunjur, on the outskirts of Bangalore.

This was followed by a digital painting programme, where employees teamed up with the school students to create paintings on the theme “Save Trees”.

A wide variety of activities that highlight global, regional and local environmental issues from water to climate change and resource conservation were of prime focus in this month-long activity globally.
