Highlights: Raghav's interests in rural microfinance, innovation, and impact assessment come from his experiences at Emory University. Specifically, he wanted to understand the discrepancy between outcomes derived from mathematical models and the experience of impacted individuals at the grassroots level. Raghav finished his last few years of high school in China before leaving for the States and then decided to return to India after completing his degree. He began working with an education-consultancy startup in New Delhi, and later joined CARE India's Advocacy department that aims to improve legislation geared towards the overall development of India's Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities.
