Highlights: Born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico, Brandon graduated from Swarthmore College in 2017 with high honors. He received a BA with a major in Political Science and a minor in Islamic Studies. After graduation, Brandon was awarded a Princeton in Africa fellowship where he worked for the Legal Resources Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. These included monitoring provincial compliance in providing transportation to rural and low-income students, completing projects related to South Africa’s obligation to expand maternity benefits to informal workers, and conducting research in order to draft comments on environmental legislation. Brandon also has international experience in Tunisia and Uganda; he studied abroad in Tunisia in the spring of 2016 through the School for International Training (SIT). As the senior associate for strategy/marketing, Brandon worked to ensure that the company’s mission to expand economic opportunities for low skilled workers was aligned with the needs and lived experiences of its user base. Brandon is excited to join the AIF Clinton Fellowship and hopes to learn more about the intersection between law, public policy, and the lived experiences of people in India. Additionally, Brandon loves music and hopes to explore the music scene in India.
