Fellowship Project: As a Marketing and Communications Fellow at Women's World Banking, Nitisha’s role will involve developing and implementing marketing strategies, creating content, and enhancing the organization's brand presence. She will be responsible for supporting the digital engagement and social media strategy so that the message about the importance of financial inclusion for women reaches a wider stakeholder segment.

Highlights: Nitisha is a gender justice advocate and a communications professional with eight years of experience in project management, fundraising, and social media marketing in the nonprofit sector. A computer science engineer by education, Nitisha started her career in the corporate and moved to the impact space with the motivation to do meaningful work and the need for job satisfaction. She identifies as an evolving feminist and is actively working towards a future where all women and girls can fulfill their potential. In her last role as Senior Program Officer at Nomi Network, she was leading the Adolescent Girls Empowerment Program which is impacting the lives of 600+ girls in three states of India at risk of child marriage, child labour and school dropout which results in exploitation and trafficking of girls. In her role, Nitisha has designed the program strategy and life skills curriculum which empowers girls from vulnerable communities to make decisions about their life and career while also being active voices of change in their communities. Previously, Nitisha has worked as a fundraising professional with CARE India and Indian School of Development Management where she mobilized resources from corporates, institutions and individuals. Nitisha is also a trained menstrual health educator and sustainability advocate and has facilitated trainings on sustainable menstruation and sexual and reproductive health with young people across India.
