Highlights: Vishwas has severed in IT sector for about 12 years. Stationed in various parts of the world and working for leading telecom companies (British Telecom, Optus, Etihaad Etisalad, YTL etc.) he headed software development units in various capacities ranging from Senior Project Manager, Relationship Manager, Delivery Head and Program Manager. Known to be a 'Code Red Man' he was often called upon to rescue projects running into 'Code Red' or crisis and to bring them back on track. He was later part of Innovations and Thought Leadership group and was involved in creating solutions for the future challenges by starting a culture of innovation. He also headed Knowledge Management division of the organization. Graduated in Science, Vishwas earned his master's in Economics and also briefly studied management at India's reputed management school; XLRI. During his IT career he was involved in CSR activities of his organization and was part of various voluntary activities conducted for community development. However having witnessed a large gap between the living conditions back in his village and those in the developing towns in India and abroad he decided to work full time in the social sector. Born to a farmer he is concerned about improving rural life to avoid large scale migration to urban areas. He is founder Chairman of an organization 'Madhyam' which is working with rural youth to change the general education pattern and approach. He believes education must have elements of moral and natural sciences both and that the lack of either leads to incapacity or insensitivity. Additionally he has strong interest in physical activities and sports. He is an athlete, a yoga practitioner, a trekker and a trained martial artist.
