FAQ
Why start an AIF chapter at my school?
AIF has dedicated staff who closely collaborate with its college chapters to help them build a strong presence on campus. A staff member from AIF will connect with chapter leadership to provide guidance and resources on event planning and outreach strategies to help achieve fundraising goals.
How do I start my chapter?
Please fill out the AIF COLA Interest Form for your step-by-step guide to setting up a chapter.
What programs can my chapter fundraise for?
COLA Chapters can design and implement fundraising campaigns to support AIF’s overall mission or focus specifically on one of our award-winning programs: Digital Equalizer (DE), Learning and Migration Program (LAMP), Market Aligned Skills Training (MAST), and Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative (MANSI). We recommend chapters choose a program that aligns with their social impact interests.
Do I need to be approved by advisors at my university?
Yes, AIF requires leadership to connect with the student and campus life center at your institution about becoming a recognized group on campus, in addition to choosing an on-campus advisor.
