India is home to one of the fastest growing populations of high net worth individuals in the world. This group saw a 21% increase from 2009 to 2010 compared to just a 12% increase for the Chinese, 8% for the U.S., and 6% in Brazil. As Indians increase their wealth, what are the challenges that exist to increase the amount of philanthropic giving? What are potential solutions for addressing these challenges? This panel will seek to start a conversation on these questions and hopefully provide insights on paths moving forward.
