Sahiya Sumitra Mahato realized that her role as a community health worker became even more critical during the pandemic. Can I give via DAF to a specific AIF program?
Yes, you can choose for your DAF gift to go towards a specific AIF initiative, such as the Learning and Migration Program (LAMP) and the Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative (MANSI), among others. From education to public health, there are a variety of causes you can contribute to through a gift to AIF.
Is my DAF gift tax-deductible?
Yes! You can take an immediate tax deduction when you make a DAF gift.
Which DAF-administrating organizations does AIF accept gifts from?
AIF accepts DAF gifts from the vast majority of charities. Check out our "Make a Donation" Giving Block portal to search for your DAF organization!
How can a DAF contribute to my legacy of giving?
Many DAF-administrating organizations allow DAF donors to name a successor, allowing that person to take control of the fund in the future. This forward-thinking approach allows you to create a lasting impact.
