A documentary about India’s water shortage produced by local students in South Delhi and funded by the American India Foundation will screen during the Seattle International Film Festival, according to an AIF press release.
The two-minute film, “Water Problem,” addresses the problems surrounding water in the Kusumpur Pahadi slum and highlights the difficulties faced by villagers in getting water every day.
“Through this project, we got the chance to show the problem of our personal life,” said Raja Paswan, 16, one of the eight teenaged students who worked on the film.
The Seattle International Film Festival runs May 17-June 10.
