Mugdha Gangopadhyay

Mugdha Gangopadhyay is an Organizational Development professional with around 19 years of experience in different sectors like Finance, IT, Pharmaceutical and Non-Profits, in both India and the US. She specializes in Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, Strategic Communications, Project Management and Fundraising. Most recently, Mugdha worked as the Chief Development Officer at Arogya World in the U.S. Mugdha already has extensive experience working at AIF. She was AIF’s Deputy Director- Development for East Coast, from 2013-2018. In her current role, as the Director- Organizational Effectiveness, Mugdha will be responsible for leading AIF’s business sustainability agenda by strengthening systems, processes and infrastructure that will enable AIF’s further growth through better planning, monitoring and reporting and ensuring alignment between individual, teams and organizational goals. She will also help integrate people, processes and technology as required.

Mugdha has a Master’s in Organizational Behavior & HR from Delhi University, and a Leadership and Human Capital Management Certification from New York University. Mugdha is trained in Change Acceleration Process, Stakeholder Analysis, Six Sigma, People Capability Maturity Model (PCMM), Human Centered Design Thinking, Fundraising, etc. She has also helped various organizations leverage technology to improve their processes and effectiveness.

Mugdha lives in Ridgewood, NJ with her husband and two sons. In her spare time Mugdha loves to travel, hike, sing and volunteer for various social causes. Mugdha is also passionate about development in the Indian subcontinent, diaspora philanthropy, community outreach and advocacy.
