
Rowena Kay Mascarenhas
As Director of Communications and Advocacy, Rowena Kay Mascarenhas holds the global responsibility for overseeing the development and implementation of AIF’s marketing, communications, and advocacy strategies across the Head Office, Country Office and Regional Offices.
Rowena has two decades of cross-sectoral experience spearheading the communications and marketing functions in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, covering corporate communications, public-private partnerships, digital marketing, storytelling, and the ability to forge productive relationships with diverse stakeholders and build community. She feels very lucky to have the opportunity to work with AIF staff, supporters, and partners to champion a more humane world.
Rowena holds a Masters in Management Studies, and a double Bachelors – B.Ed-SE and B.Comm. Her certifications include ADHD Strategies for Elementary Students from SUNY, Breaking Down Barriers: RTE from the University of Glasgow, and Gender Equality and Development from the WB.
