The American India Foundation would like to offer our deepest sympathies to those suffering the devastating effects of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda in the Philippines). Haiyan was the second category 5 Typhoon to strike the Philippines this year, destroying homes, shattering infrastructure, and claiming lives. The death toll stands at several thousands, with survivors in desperate conditions, lacking food, clean water, and shelter.
Born out of disaster relief, the American India Foundation has assisted in some of the subcontinent’s most tragic natural disasters. We recommend the following organizations operating on the frontlines as vehicles to deliver emergency and humanitarian aid to victims of this tragedy.
Ayala Foundation
