The American India Foundation Receives 2025 Best Nonprofits to Work For Award
April 1, 2025, New York, USA: The American India Foundation (AIF) has once again been selected as one of the 2025 Best Nonprofits to Work For by The NonProfit Times, the leading national business publication for nonprofit managers, in partnership with Best Companies Group. This survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the nonprofit industry, where leaders have excelled in creating quality workplaces to benefit the industry’s economy, workforce, and businesses.
Given this renewed accolade, Nishant Pandey, AIF’s Chief Executive Officer reflected, “Each of us commits ourselves to this organization—its culture and impact—everyday. Awarded annually, the Best Nonprofits to Work For ranking evaluates organizations based on workplace culture, employee satisfaction, and mission impact. AIF’s US-based team has been instrumental in advancing high-impact programs in education, livelihoods, and public health across India, working tirelessly to create sustainable change. This recognition affirms AIF’s dedication not only to the communities it serves but also to the professional growth and well-being of its employees.
Hundreds of nonprofits from across the United States took part in the two-part process to determine this year’s Best Nonprofits to Work For. The first part—worth 25% of the total evaluation—reviewed each nominated organization’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part—worth 75% of the total evaluation—surveyed the employees to measure their experience. The combined scores determined the top nonprofits and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the ranking.
With 100% employee participation in the process, AIF has yet again joined the 2025 list of 50 organizations.
The US staff celebrates this sense achievement together with their colleagues in India, based at the American India Foundation Trust (AIFT), who received a comparable award as a certified 2025 Great Place To Work – India—also for the second time! Despite distant geographies and distinct national accolades, both teams share a unified vision, proudly contributing to what the binational organization refers to as the “Dream Team.”
